About

The modern day Israeli-Arab conflict has ensued since Israel established its independence on May 14th 1948, and the Arab world refused to accept Israel’s right to exist. While Israel currently has shaky peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan, Israel has been drawn into a perpetual state of conflict with neighboring countries and terrorist groups in order to defend its right to exist.  Israel has fought official wars and military operations, has combatted two intifadas, and has had to deal with ongoing cross border rocket and missile attacks and persistent terrorist attacks of all kinds. In addition to these conflicts, Israel is also facing the looming threat of a nuclear Iran. On this site, read about some aspects of the Arab-Israeli conflict and check out the links for more information.
